Scott Moore is the Founder and General Manager of Turf Layers, bringing over 15 years of hands-on experience in artificial turf and outdoor construction along with a Business Management Degree. He founded Turf Layers with a clear mission: put the client first while raising the standard of quality, communication, and professionalism in the turf industry.
Scott works closely with homeowners, builders, and trade partners to ensure every project is thoughtfully designed, properly executed, and built to perform long-term. His leadership emphasizes transparency, accountability, and craftsmanship—principles that guide every Turf Layers installation.
Known for his relationship-driven approach, Scott has helped position Turf Layers as a trusted artificial turf partner throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas & Oklahoma areas by doing things the right way, every time.

Chelsey
Chelsey – Business Administrator
Chelsey serves as Business Administrator for Turf Layers and brings over 16 years of experience across administrative, operational, and accounting roles. She plays a key role in keeping the organization running efficiently behind the scenes.
Chelsey ensures that clients, trade partners, staff, and accounting processes remain aligned and organized, helping create a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. Her proactive approach allows the Turf Layers team to stay ahead of details and avoid delays.

Jorge – Operations Manager
Jorge serves as Operations Manager at Turf Layers and brings over 12 years of experience in artificial turf installation and outdoor construction. He plays a critical role in ensuring each project is executed with precision, efficiency, and consistency.
Jorge works closely within every phase of a project to ensure that clients and trade partners receive a seamless, professional experience. His attention to detail and hands-on leadership help maintain Turf Layers’ high standards in the field.

Preston
Preston – Designer
Preston serves as our Turf/Landscape Designer, bringing a unique blend of formal architectural education and real-world field experience to every project. He earned his degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University, along with minors in Urban Planning, Regional Development, and Horticulture—a foundation that allows him to design outdoor spaces that are both visually compelling and highly functional.
Preston specializes in conceptual design through execution, working closely with clients to translate ideas into buildable, long-lasting outdoor environments. His designs balance beauty, sustainability, and practicality, ensuring each project is thoughtfully planned and executed with purpose.
Whether managing phased, long-term projects or overseeing full property transformations, Preston’s goal is to elevate each space into a personalized, livable outdoor experience. His functional design work includes xeriscape concepts, cozy garden retreats, and complete site transformations—all with a focus on sustainability, quality, and seamless integration with the overall project vision.
